Blog-o-Luxe™ 5000

The website we designed for Distillery Row was built in Wordpress using a Woo theme as the base of the site. We're happy to share that the nice people at Woo Themes liked what we did, and have added the site to their Featured section of their showcase. Here's a bit of what they wrote: “I just wanted to reach out and say great job on the site! Seriously, it looks great and I definitely hope you’re enjoying the theme ...

The Photo Lounge is Portland’s Coolest Photo booth! And, now they have a website that matches their high-energy, fun and interactive photo shoots. The Photo Lounge is a great addition to wedding receptions, Bar Mitzvahs, company parties, charity events, birthday parties and just about any kind of event you can throw. Fun and crazy props, colorful backgrounds and their awesome professional photographers come together to create an experience you and your guests will love and remember! Check out their new site (built in Wordpress for easy editing and updating) to learn more....

Deco Distilling is moving into their new production facility, complete with a Tasting Room that will be open on weekends, so they needed new business cards. We helped them out with a nice refresh that’s equal parts vintage Deco and rock-and-roll. While the spirits are hand-crafted, these cards are all about sales, so we put an ad on the back for their delicious new Coffee Rum. And, yes that is a Silver Medal from the 2011 World Spirits Competition. Thanks for noticing....

We've just completed a soft-launch for the new Distillery Row Website. There’ll be more content and features added soon, but the new site, built on the Wordpress publishing platform, is open for business! Take a look around and learn about the craft distilling revolution happening in Portland, and more specifically in the 20 city blocks of the SE Industrial Area. Meet the Row distilleries: Deco Distilling, House Spirits Distillery, Integrity Spirits, New Deal Distillery and Stone Barn Brandyworks, and plan your next tasting tour of the Row!  ...

Here's something a little different from us: a series of web banner ads for the 2011 Seattle Erotic Ball. The campaign we designed included posters, postcards, and print and web advertising, and was full of loud colors, grungy textures and gothic type. As you can see, we're fully adept at many different design styles and aesthetics. ...

If you’re wondering why we haven't been posting much to our blog lately, the answer is simple. We’ve been busy getting to know some very nice new clients* and creating some very nice new design work for them! Who are these businesses you ask? Here they are...

We were asked to design this full-color poster for a very special event at the Benson Hotel benefitting Foundation Batum and Mama of Africa. The poster shows photos of the group's work in Cameroon, and features the son of the Foundation's founder Nicolas Batum (who just happens to play for the Portland Trail Blazers). The Gastronomic Soirée takes place on Wednesday March 16th at 6:00pm, and you can get your tickets at Tickets Oregon....

Here's a new site we designed, that's actually a resurrection of a site previously online from 2006-2008. Smells Like Pop is a music magazine published "by pops and people who smell like pops." Writers for the site hail from up and down the West Coast from Portland to the SF Bay Area to Los Angeles. The site is co-edited by David Bailey (DBDA), so now you can hear what kind of music makes him feel zippy!...

Wishing you and yours a New Year filled to the brim with Joy and Peace! Thank you to all of our wonderful clients, friends and family for their faith, support and love! Let's make 2011 much, much better than this one!...
